Bath, Brush out and Dry
A bath and dry between grooms helps prevent knots, making it easier for you to enjoy your time with your dog rather than struggle with bathing and brushing.
Dogs love to roll in unpleasant smells or enjoy a swim in the sea and playing in mud!
A bath, brush, and dry in between grooms keeps their coat in great condition, provides a health check, and saves you time on home grooming. This is especially helpful for breeds like curly-coated cockapoos, who are prone to matting and knots between their regular 6-8 week grooms. This service is in their best interest to maintain their coat health.
Deshedding Treatments
A deshedding hydrobath is offered with deshedding shampoo.This releases some of the dead hair.
The madra mor mud spa can be added on which is an extra cost. This is part of the spa package. The madra mor mud is massaged into your dogs coat reaching the skin and hair follicles. This has so many benefits:
Rejuvenates the skin, hair and follicles
Leaves a shiny coat
Gorgeous lasting smell
Releases dead hair
Used regularly it will have a lasting healthy finish to your dog's coat and hair
Good for any age of dog
Reduces your hoover getting over used and your clothes/furniture collecting excessive hair.
Hand Stripping
This service is charged by the hour and is subject to your dog being neutered and tolerant of hand stripping. A discussion is always had and assessment of the coat prior to hand stripping to ensure the right results for your dog.
Handstripping preserves the natural colour and texture of your dog’s coat while encouraging healthy hair growth. By removing dead hair, it allows for thicker, healthier regrowth, resulting in a vibrant, well-maintained coat.
Each breed is priced per hour, as handstripping is a specialised and time-intensive process. Depending on the coat, temperament, and whether the dog has been handstripped before, it may be uncomfortable for the dog. In such cases, an alternative grooming option can be discussed.
If the coat is very thick there will be a small extra charge.

Clipping Scissoring and styling
Clipping and scissoring are options for different breeds and coat types. Your dog will receive 2-3 washes with high end natural products using a hydrobath and conditioner. They can be styled in many different ways:
Pet grooms to fit in with you and your dog's lifestyle. This can be a specific style that works for maintenance for you and well being for your dog.
Breed standard such as Schnauzer, Westies and Spaniels. Can be styled more specifically.
For ad ons to groom we offer teeth maintenance, a spa package, ear plucking and cleaning.
Ear Cleaning and Plucking
Regular Ear cleaning is essential to maintain ear health and hygiene it:
Eliminates that yeasty odour
Prevents infection
By removing hair it allows free airflow therefore preventing debri attaching to hairs that may cause infection.
Ears will not be cleaned if there is any sign of infection and a recommendation to visit your vet will be advised.
This is an ad on fee and will be charged as extra.
Nail Clipping
Nail clipping can usually be booked on the day. However if your dog is booked in regularly every 6-8 weeks this is included in the grooming price.
Price £15
Also a home visit can be arranged for £20
Teeth Maintenance/cleaning
The Emi pet system is used to provide teeth maintenance for your dogs. This is a non-invasive method of maintaining your dog’s oral hygiene without an anaesthetic. It is a silent ultrasonic toothbrush head which will provide optimum dental care. Instant results are visible after one session.

The assessment is free and guidance. The system is safe, proven to work and effective for your dog’s teeth maintenance causing no pain or harm.
First session £45
This includes an initial assessment and free toothbrush head for your dog. It will be kept in the salon for future teeth maintenance.
Second Session £35
Sessions can be added onto regular grooms but the initial assessment must be completed first.
All teeth maintenance is only done after assessment. If your dog needs veterinary support for their teeth I will advise accordingly.

How long will you have my pet for?
Does my dog get breaks?
Yes there is a safe garden for toilet breaks.
Is my dog the only dog at your salon?
Yes at Tj’s we work on a 1-1 basis.
Will I get a discount for multiple dogs?
We don’t offer a discount as each dog will take time to groom and usually a double space. I could offer a free nail clip, ear clean or blueberry facial.
Will you shave my dog?
Your dog will be assessed, and in line with my terms and conditions, will only be shaved completely short if their coat is heavily matted or pelted, to ensure their health and welfare. This will always be discussed with you beforehand.
Should I bring my own treats?
Does my dog need walking prior to a groom?
Yes, allowing your dog to shake off excess energy and relieve themselves before the groom helps them feel more relaxed and comfortable during the session.
Is my dog caged?

Prices
Small breeds start at £90, medium from £100.
Prices vary depending on your dog’s coat, size, and behaviour. These will be discussed during your free introduction or first visit. A £20 booking fee is required to confirm all grooming slots, and it is non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours.
